The Secret Keeper by Kate Morton

SummaryDuring a summer party at the family farm in the English countryside, sixteen-year-old Laurel Nicolson has escaped to her childhood tree house and is happily dreaming of the future. She spies a stranger coming up the long road to the farm and watches as her mother speaks to him. Before the afternoon is over, Laurel will witness a shocking crime. A crime that challenges everything she knows about her family and especially her mother, Dorothy—her vivacious, loving, nearly perfect mother.

Condition: Purchased pre-owned so there is creasing but in perfectly acceptable reading condition.

My Personal Review:  This book was not for me. It had a good back and forth between the characters point of view and a decent mystery but it took a little long to get to the point and dragged a bit at times. I’ll admit to the fact that I was unable to finish this book. If you’re interested in the summary, I say still give it a go but for me it just fell flat.
